I have 24 packs of each food including coral coming and 20 feeding clips.

are the feeding clips necessary?
does the food stay in the clip for extended periods? That would be perfect for my
new breeding setup if that's the case.

food will stay in clip for up to 8 hours. i use a veggie clip for mine because it lasts like 3 minutes in my tank.

I usually melt this stuff in some tank water and add a squirt from a syringe to entice my corals a few minutes before feeding the tank...the fish go nuts darting around looking for the food and literally jump out of the water when I go back to the tank and open the lid.

FYI

I ordered feeding clips, 3 and 7 ounces of each fish food and coral food. my fish are happily munching on this now.
