WTB Copperband Butterfly

#1
As much as it pains me to say, I have an aptasia problem. What started as one or two behind a rock has now blown up into a full fledged assault. I do not have the time to aptasia x all these guys. I really need a copperband butterfly. If anyone has or know where I can get one let me know. I would prefer one that comes from an established reef as they are tough to get to eat but would take anything at this point. Please help, I am in SE Denver

man, you even used to work at a fish store, you should know better :)
I suck... I feel really bad about it. I never thought it would happen to me. Just goes to show what can happen if you let one hang out for too long.

I had to get rid of it, I had NO time. So Amonchak has the 210 now, and I have a 120 that just got totally setup, and will be getting stocked with a bunch of zoas when I get back into town next week :)

Exactly man!! I DO love zoas. When we had the frag tank running in the house we would move frags from that tank into the main tank, and I had a HUGE collection of zoas. But they're long gone

I bought mine from Aqua Imports. It was feeding on frozen PE Mysis from the water column like a pig, and it furiously eats the frozen fish slurry mix I make at home. AI recommends feeding PE mysis to butterfly's to get them to start eating.

+1 to buying it from Keys Island. He does a great job with getting them to eat frozen. Anywhere you buy ask them to feed it right in front of you to see how "actively" he accepts new foods. I bought mine from Aquamart and didn't have a single aptasia in my tank. He looks to be accepting Rod's, and Mysis now. But, he may also be filling up on my feather duster... Great fish though.
