Hello... i got a 180 gallon tank with buit in overflows that i am planning to build and i need these equipment to start with. I am looking for fug and a skimmer that are rated for 180 gallon or bigger let me know what do you have thanks

I have a glass 90 gal tank that was turned into a sump.

Really only 18" high? Seems really low. Also just out of curiosity what is the dims of your 180? Most I have seen have been 6*2*2, never seen one only 18" wide.

Just my opinion, but this is the best time to build a stand that will lift that up to a better viewing level. Even if it is just 2x4 at first, you can skirt it later and still come up with a pretty nice looking stand and have much more room to work with.

Yep this is a 180 stand I built for a guy here.

good point i like it when i see other tanks like that the thing is i don't know how to make one nor have the tools and its a lil expensive to make a really nice one

you should talk 2 static reef he builds stands and canopy he is real reasonable and can make you what you want he has mad skills you get the supplies he builds it. he is doing a canopy for my 200g tank and gave a real reasonable rate. I know he is on thhttp://www.thescmas.com think he is on here as well give him a look up

I have my 125 on a 2x4 stand right now while I'm putting the finishing touches on the side pieces for it... But for the 2x4 stand I think with screws it cost me about $25. You can have home depot cut the 2x4s for you, but if you do that make sure you find someone that is half intelligent and measure the boards after they cut them!!!! For some reason they don't know how to cut boards to correct lengths! Lol and I'm sure you can borrow a drill and saw from someone as well. Not sure where you are located but I have a drill and saw you would be more than welcome to borrow if needed.
