wtb sand and then who knows what

Looking for 100lbs of sand, maybe more. I have about 20-30lbs and the tank is a 400 gallon. Once i get the sand, get it cycled etc, I'll be hunting down frags and fish!

Not sure if you found any, free bump!! Also, most stores carry sand, then you can just get a cup of live sand from one of us to help cycle the tank :)

Bump. This time i really need to pick up some sand. The tank is cycling! It took us a month to fix the leaks and plumb the tank from scratch, but it didn't help that the previous owner had epoxy all over the place.

The tank just started cycling today, could i even get a few fish and corals? My brother was reading somewhere that you can mix up a fresh batch of sw when the water becomes inhabitable around the 3rd week of cycling and put the fish and coral in a holding tank with a new batch of sw. Any of this true?

I would hold off I never cycled a tank that long longest was 7 days for me. But yes you could add fish as soon as your ammonia spike goes away which could take 3 to 4 weeks for some I always had it happen faster but I always used live rock to help the cycle.
