Bulkhead gaskets

Has anyone used the rubber sheet material from Lowes or Home Depot to cut their own for bulkheads? I need a couple of 1.5" gaskets for my skimmer project and don't want to pay as much in shipping as the parts.

I have. Sometimes they worked, sometimes not. I bet if you went to Ace Hardware you'd find what you need. They have a lot of gaskets

That would be cool buddy. I'm just trying to gather the last few pieces to set up my skimmer externally.

weel I did find two but one was damaged. The other is perfect if you want it. Not sure what's the best way to get it to ya.
