Hi MACS,
I had 2 questions. I recently picked up a clown and put him in qt. I noticed he has white stringy poop so likely an internal parasite. I have also noticed occasionally a few fish in my DT have had light colored stringy poop (not as clearly white as the clown), my emperor angel, tang and powder blue. the ones in the display tank have been in there for 4-6 months and are fat and super healthy looking other than this. They eat like pigs, swim fine and show no other signs of issues. I've only seen the white stringy poop on them a few times but with a kid i cant observe the tank as much as i would like. 2 questions:
Is it possible for the DT fish to have internal parasites but still act and live on fine? I have a ton of coral and don't want to pull them all out for QT and throw all my nutrients off and stress everything unless necessary. If so does the metro+focus thing actually work and reef safe?
For the clown will the metro in water column also work or do I also have to get prazi?
Thanks for any assistance.
James
