Frag or leave it alone?

This is an Acro I got from reef stock 2011. It was a piece the aquarium was fragging. It has STN at the base but the top is doing great. In the last week I've (finally) seen decent growth and polyp extension. Should I cut out the STN? basically cut it flat about half way up and re glue so it gets a solid base or see if the top grows ok as is? Also, if I cut it one side of the bottom has some branches that look good, could I cut those and glue to plugs for frags?

pretty sure as long as one polyp is on the frag it will grow. but it has a chance of dieng just like a one polyp zoa frag

I would agree leave it unless stn continues, at that point i would frag then coral rx the stn'd part and see what happens

Slow Tissue Necrosis, in this case the Acro is slowly suffering tissue death or loss. Sometimes it stops, sometimes it occurs more rapidly (RTN).

DBarnes, I'm gonna give it another week or so, to make sure they are both doing ok, then we can talk!
