Do you run 20k halides? What is your lighting? How do you export nutrients?

His lighting is halides (not sure on wattage, 400 watt maybe or color temp) VHO actinic and reefbrite led.

For sure there is a big difference. If you got the tdf that looks like a milli or red planet. Then you have a fake. There are lots of them. Even Jason Fox TDF is not the real deal.
The real one has a smooth look to it

This tank runs 2 250watt 20k radium. And reefbrite blue led.

Assuming mine is still doing well I got my TDF from Jared at Rocky Mountain Frags and it is for sure different than my red planet
