I want to introduce myself. My name is Paul. I'm doing the research to keep a pico tank on my desk at work. Previously, I have kept a couple of planted freshwater aquariums but this will be my first foray into saltwater.

I'm looking forward to talking to some of you fellow Coloradoan's and getting advice.

+1 to the Auto Top Off. Check out the nuvo 16 @ Aquamart on the front counter its just a gravity fed 12/16 oz bottle inside the rear chamber

I'm assuming the ATO is to prevent high salinity due to evaporation. I'm planning on using the Fluval Spec V tank which has a partial top. Do you think the evaporation would be that great over a 3 day weekend?
