Help!! Toadstool Leather coral

#1
Hi guys,
I've notice little white spots on this leather coral a couple of weeks ago, thinking its because of nitrate waste from the snails.
so I took a turkey baster and blew it off. (multiple times).
now it just seems like the white spots are getting bigger and bigger.
I'm getting very worried.
It opens and is happy all the time.
every now and then she will close up for a 2-3 days shed top layer and open up again.
Not sure what's going on. Please help

Agree that doesn't look like normal shedding (where it will close up for a few days and shed all over). It's doesn't look like you have any corals nearby that could be stinging it, do you have any shrimp/limpets/cowries/asterina stars/etc that might be bothering it? Are your water parameters in a decent range? There are some flatworms and nudibranchs that will go after leather corals, you might want to try a dip in something like ReVive just to be safe. If it continues to get worse after that, you might have to consider fragging off the healthy bits and getting rid of the rest (but make sure you dip the healthy bits before putting them back in the tank, or put them in a quarantine tank).
