I have some garbage paly's (Look like what used to be referred to as "Texas Trash Paly's") that are growing on a rock, this rock is immovable without disassembling the entire rockscape. I would like to get rid of the paly's. I've tried a bit of Kalk Paste on them, but that only irritated them for a few days and they came right back.
My thought was to do an in-tank fragging of sorts. Get a siphon hose going and put the hose by the paly's then use a sharp razor to cut them off and suck them out into a bucket? Will this work without causing too much disruption to the chemistry? Any better ideas?
