There are many ways to frag corals and personal preferences

Have Masc or Scmas members tried expierementing with both? I would like to see what everyones expierences have been with both small and large frags. I see why they look better but if your going to DBTC'ing these guys once fraggable take one and try the same fragging technique as coral maternity in portugal? has anyone tried their exact way of fragging it looks like he uses the rubber topped single flower water tubes

I can see why the tube is filled with 3 drops of iodine but any idea why he uses RO water in them wouldnt fresh saltwater be better or is the ro possibly used to kill any bacteria that makes it into the tube to protect the coral?
In the other thread there were concers and the rate at which these frags would grow. Coral maternity is a large western european frag dealer he goes thru alot of frags.
With the proper setup it would not take years to grow these out into great pieces for DBTC trades and even over stocking for possible club frags as a welcome gift for new members.
It would take maybe say eight months
