New tank new corals what to do

Got the new LED 28G nano this past weekend. No fish in it, but many corals. Guess I don't know where to start. We've only had polyp, and basic leather corals which these are mostly not. Ow, such grammer. Branching SPS I'd wager. Pics at some point, but I'm in finals right now. Do I need to start testing for Calcium? I've only tested the basics in my other tank. I read something last night about buffers, but it told me nothing. Need standard coral 101 I guess. Do have coral frenzy and liquid planton something or other I keep in the fridge. Am convinced it spikes the nitrates in my other tank though. The mom

You need to test for alkaliinity and calcium and magnesium.
All of these need to be in the proper windows for good stony coral health.

i have the same tank and love it. you can keep pretty much any coral you want.

read, read ,read then read some more. on RC I used to use the "new to the hobby" forum and I would search any questions before posting because most likely it has already been covered
