Also... I was getting over 500 PAR around the top of my tank and 200 PAR at the sand bed. I'm running an EVO 120 20k (2 watt LEDs) and a Chinese group buy 120watt 20k (1 watt LEDs) over my 40 breeder. The Evo was giving out about 50 more PAR than the Chinese at any given area.
I also have been contemplating setting up a small tank on my porch this summer to take advantage of free sunlight. I measured about 1500 PAR from the midday sun at my back porch! I'm excited for that!!
