I upgraded from T5 to led strips a couple months ago. I just was not happy with the spectrum and par of the strips. The wow factor was their going from T5 to led, but it looked kind of dull compared to other led's
Yesterday I traded the strips in for two 300w Hyperion dimmable panels from Scott at dorkfish aquatics. Everything fits nicely in the hood and have dimmable control.
The difference between the strips and the Hyperion panel is very noticeable, and the wow factor has more than doubled.
