Looks like my Pajama Cardinal died today. He was swimming around this morning and I just fed the tank and he did not come out. I can't find him any where. I did not notice anything going on with him this morning. I've had him for 2.5 years and he survived 3 moves. Tank specs are stable. Not sure what happened. All I can think is maybe he wasn't getting enough food since a few weeks ago I started feeding less in order to fight an algae problem.

Fish have life spans, assuming he wasn't a tiny little fry when you got him. He may have just died of age, this site says lifespan of 5 years or so.
