Sponge/algae identification

    Anyone ever seen this? It looks like a sponge of some sort. Its tough to tell from these pics but its looks a bit like cauliflower in texture. I found something on line called sea cauliflower which seems fitting and is in fact a sponge but I'm not sure this is the same thing or if its invasive or not. I also did not see it mentioned in reaffirms to the saltwater hobby.

    I can say I certainly don't like the look of it and am noticing it more and more in my main display. One response on RC stated that it was something akin to a pineapple sponge and like pineapple sponge should run its course be they didn't seem too sure.
