I was trying to get my build thread up and the forums wasn't letting me have it. I am currently stuck on the sump. I want to add baffles/bubble traps to the sump (Pic of it laying on the side) I have the acrylic cut for it and had the glue laid down and was looking to the side where I was going to have the protein skimmer and realized that it may not fit in the compartment where I want it. So I was thinking of cutting out the brace in the red rectangle (first pic, top view of sump). Would I still be fine since I am adding the baffles and its basically more or the same support that the brace was doing?
