I am pondering the idea of buying one of these!? Does any one have any experience with this?

http://www.sea-swirl.com/seasweep.htm

Or should I be the the test dummy? (FinsUp this is your Que!)

The reason I am looking into this item is due to the fact I am not doing a closed loop on the new build nor do I like seeing cords!

Thank you reef peps!

I Think Thunder is using the original Sea Swirls, not the Sweeps.. First time I've seen these.

They are as advertised. They are be reliable.

I don't have a sweep, but I am still using a few swirls from circa 1999 or 2000 with no issues whatsoever. They are the same with different fittings and stuff.

Those sure to cost a pretty penny. Maybe send them a letter that you will test one out for our reef club ;)

I think you should duct tape a power head to a piece of PVC and stand near your tank turning it back and forth and if you like it buy one.
