Anyone tried using the flipper glass scrapper on acrylic? I usually used the palstic one but had some really tough algae so I switched to the metal. I didn't notice any scratches. Is the concern over micro scratches? About the only time I have an issue is when I pick up a piece of sand and that definitely leaves marks. Seems like as long as you are careful the metal one would work fine for tough algae. Thoughts?
