Has anyone here in denver given the this stuff a shot?

After reading through a number of pages on r2r, I bought some and tried it. Doesn't seem to be doing much except diatoms and cyano went away, just looking to see what other experiences have been (if any).

It sounds like they supply you with the bacteria that you would grow yourself if you dosed an organic carbon source. Most of the "science" looks like it came from the manufacturer...and you all know how much I love that.

Has your skimmer started to pull gunk out like crazy?

I have tried it and not really had any luck at all. I have noticed my glass stays a little cleaner but it did absolutely nothing for gha or red slime. I haven't noticed any ill effects to my corals with it though.

Skimmer went a little haywire, not too bad though. I have the same reservations on the manufacturer supplying all of the "science", but thought I'd give it a go and see what happened. I lost a few SPS during the dosing, but to be honest the ones I lost were having a bit of a rough time before I started.
