Wall Hammer Polyps

My wall hammer suddenly dumped it's polyps from one head a few weeks ago. I thought it was injured when I dropped a rock accidentally while cleaning. But I noticed they are growing back..normaL? Anyone else ever experience this?

Happens all the time with my frogspawn but it's usually just a couple tentacles at a time not a whole head.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

+1 on a few tentacles at a time. I have to be on the lookout for some of the floating pieces as they still fight with what they land on.
