what is the best way to catch a pistol shrimp ?

    I have a candy cane pistol shrimp and want to get rid of him so i can have other invertrs with out worry of the pistol killing and eating them
    what would be the best way to catch the pistol ?

    It picks off pepermint shrimp , and hermit crabs.
    ive tryed the bottle trap but dont know where his burrow is so no luck yet

    Fortunately mine was only in a 20g so I took out the rock he was under and set it in a bucket and he came out into the bucket, mine killed several of my snails that I had for a long time and that had grown large, and an emerald crab, not sure if he got any of my hermits though. This all in addition to daily target feeding

    I've removed every rock in my tank before, and couldn't find my pistol shrimp...
