What is this??

I would say it has the physical characteristics of an Armadillidum (roly poly) and even curls up into a ball when touched. It has a mantle like a snail and is reddish brown in color. Any ideas on what this is?

I agree with Chris that it looks kind of like a stometella snail to me. However I think because of the pattern I am seeing on its back and how the last picture shows it is really flat, I am going to guess that it is a Chiton.

After looking at the pics... bingo! Thanks for identifying, are they reef safe? And are these normal in captivity? i have never seen one until now.
