which test kit do you trust elos or lamotte

I ran Alk on two test kits one a Elos and the other LaMotte. Both kits are less than two months old. The Elos kit gave me a 6.5 reading and the LaMotte gave me 7.8. Any one else had similar results? I had always thought the LaMotte was the best kit but I'm not sure. Any other kits that are considered the best?

I havent used either of those, but I hear that LaMotte are pretty good ones. I use red sea pro test kits though and they seem to be pretty consistent for me

I use Salfert test kits and red sea for potassium, iron, and iodide

Test both again. ...then decide.

Do you have a Salifert laying around with the stock solution in it? You can probably make some if you want with a recipe online.
