So I added a phosban reactor from my frag system to my biocube 14 this week with no problems. Got a little too confident and decided to add the Kent Dosing Jug from my frag system. Everything was good to start. pH was at 8.35. Then the kid got sick and threw up. While cleaning the bed sheets, went to check the doser. Doser emptied, pH at 9.01, and skimmer overflowing from the water level being too high. Luckily no precipitation and the pH was back to 8.3 this morning. Everything looks good. Guess I will be a little more careful next time.

This is why my display kalkwasser is on a pH controller.

So all your kalk dumped into the tank? Nothing looks affected? Did you do anything to get some out or did you just let it go?

I have a whiskey bottle for top off. I dumped it in since the skimmer was already overflowing. Everything looks good so far, the lps look great. There is still a bunch of kalk in the reservoir.
