WTF are these...

Ok so I have hundreds of these in my sump in the skimmer area and in the baffles between the skimmer and the fuge. They are not in the fuge, the return area, or in the main tank. They look like some kind of slug or egg? They don't appear to move, they are just attached to the glass. What are they and do I need to do something to get rid of them?
