Hello all,

I'm Laura Lee aka Charli. I'm Makelky's wife. I just posted pictures of our 300 gal on his intro post as some had requested. I wanted to introduce myself as well since maintaining the 500+ gallons of salt water in our house is a family hobby.

And for your enjoyment, I've included my favorite series of fish pictures. This Star's and Stripes puffer is not so affectionately names, Fat Freddy.

I'm not sure what stressed him out that day. It was a few months ago. He doesn't puff up much which is good.

Wow that is crazy!!! I rarely have seen one inflated except for while scube diving, glad to hear he doesn't do it that much though!

I have 4 puffers who have all puffed at one time or another. I read that they can puff up to help keep their skin elastic. I haven't noted a cause of the stress in any puffed instance. My adult porcupine has puffed more than the others. I even have a video of him de-puffing.
