Hi guys my name is Alonso, i'm 18 years old and I've been a fish enthusiast for years! I currently live in LA but i'll be moving out to Denver in 2 weeks. I have kept freshwater tanks for years now and I am very excited to set up a new tank in Denver. I do not know if i will be able to afford a full saltwater tank as I will be a student but I know having a fish tank is a must for me! Anyways I'm very happy I was able to find a fish club to join and if anyone has tanks or supplies they'd be willing to sell or give away for free i would love it just PM. Additionally any recommended fish stores would be appreciated Ill be living in Northeast Denver Zip code 80239. Any help is appreciated i look forward to everything!

Hey welcome, Craigslist is your friend! Plan what you would like, size of tank and the range of equipment you'd like. You can find great deals if you watch. You can buy whole set ups for a couple hundred and sell the stuff you don't need. With some thought and hard work you can put together a nice medium sized fish tank. Watch here as well, particularly for sand and live rock!

Hey Alonso, welcome! I too live in northeast Denver, 80249 area code. The best place I've found for coral and livestock is Aquatic Art in Highlands Ranch. It's a bit of a drive from where we are, but well worth it. Very reasonably priced and fish/ coral always look great. Chris (the shop owner) is amazing to work with, just ask him or any of his workers questions and they typically have some great answers. I only buy livestock from him and haven't been disappointed. He also has a massive display tank that is amazing. Hope this helps!
