If you do end up looking at adding a sailfin tang later on i would get one that’s at least the same size as your purple.

Ours can be aggressive when we introduce new fish, but generally it is well behaved. It is also a Desjardini not a standard sailfin. I would expect some sparing to happen between your other two and any new zebrasoma species you introduce but that’s fairly standard. I’d worry more about the...

And the skimmer hasn’t been on since the float valve went out and dumped in a couple of inches extra.

Jodi and I keep saying how much clearer the water is after just a few hours. We’ve also gone through like 3’ of mat since it was installed. But it has slowed dramatically since the install.

Removed the filter sock holders and baffles and now it’s up and running!

Whelp, our skimmer is too big or our sump is too small without modifications. Looks like I’ll need to cut out the filter sock compartment to make this work!

Love this idea but what’s your plan for keeping it contained? Are you just planning to start with one or are you thinking of breeding them?
