Copepod sampling Procedure:
- Shake 16 oz bottle of Poseidon's Feast: Tisbe
- Remove lid and insert 10 mL syringe and withdraw 10mL.
- Place one drop on the side of the wall into the collection container. Note the number of copepods in each drop.
- Allow the drop to continue to the bottom of the collection container.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the entire 10 mL has been dispensed.
- Pour the contents of the collection container into the 16 oz bottle.
- Repeat steps 1 through 6 a total of three times. Average.
- Determine the number of copepods per mL. Then scale to 470 mL.
