Well I decided that I am going to be breaking down the 120g tomorrow. Havn't been to happy with the tank lately. Its going to be a sad morning. :(

But before you all start to whine about what a quiter I am.

Scroll down!

Did I mention I am going to rebuild it in the afternoon! :p

Figured that since I am going full zeo now would be a good time to clean up the aquascaping and go bare bottom. Gonna make some cool pillars and bridges to try to get the rock up higher and more open for the new SPS that will soon be incoming. And this will give me a chance to upgrade the plumping as well. Going to be installing a Mag 24, and some new lockline fittings to increase flow.

Dont want the deteritus to build up. And if im not happy with the BB I can always add crushed coral later on to fill it in.

Well I got the tank all cleaned out, new pvc plumbing in, dosers set up, and the zeovit reactor plumbed in today. Tomorrow is going to be sand rinsing and aquascaping. I think I cleared out the local home depot of waterweld today...lol. Bought 8 sticks!

I will post pics of the new setup when I get everything completed tomorrow.

Taking down my canopy this weekend for the duration of the wifes pregnancy. It's to tall for me to work on inside the tank without taking it down. And right now taking it down each time involves me either finding a neighbor or friend to help. Going to string the LED's from the ceiling for the time being. This will allow me to still have access inside the tank anytime I need. Might build a box around the light fixture as a light barrier, but have not decided yet...but am thinking if I beef up the suspension system I might be able to add on a couple T5s as supplementation.

Ok, so here are some overdue pics. These were taken with my cell, so the quality probably sucks.

First the aquascaping.

The new zeovit reactor...so far I am really liking this system. Almost all my hair algea is gone after only 1 1/2 weeks of running it. The colors of the corals is really starting to pop too. Thinking about starting a official zeo thread to provide updates.
