Do not dose while your watching your kids and cooking dinner. I dumped carbonate into my tank instead of magnesium, the bottle look exactly the same. I dosed enough to raise it from 8.8 to 11.8 dKH.

I just met Michael today when I bought a grape juice acros frag from him. He ended up living 5 minutes from my house. Big shout out to him for giving me ro/di water at the drop of a hat to fix my f*** up with immediate water changes. If it werent for people like Michael and Guokas this club wouldn't be as supportive as it is. Thanks to those guys and everyone else in this club.

Thanks. I'm waiting for the water to clear up before I test again. I ended up doing a 50% water change.

My bet is you'll b fine. My alk doser got stuck on in my 40 cube several years ago. Raised alf from 9.5 to 13 in an hour. I reacted the same as you with a large water change. I had brown coral for a month but no burning! Hopefully you 'll be good.

Ouch, thank goodness for nearby reefers. I bet you will be fine though, they'll be ****ed off for a bit, but likely it will eventually get back to normal. GL
