See this is why I haven't paid much attention to my tank recently. It just sucks $$ from my wallet. I noticed a few days ago my temp was down to 76 degree's. Have the tank set to stay at 78. Figured maybe because its been cold in the basement lately. I checked all 3 of my 400w heaters and they all had lights on them to indicate they were working. Also checked my mercury thermometer to make sure the apex was reading correctly

Well today I was checking again and it had dropped down to 75 overnight, I knew that couldn't be right. Found one of the heaters was not producing any heat even though it was on.

Another $100 down for 3 more heaters (figure the other 2 will break soon. On the positive note these heaters have lasted me for like 6 years now.
