I still remembered my password! :p

It looks like most of the conversation has moved to the local boards. Yes? Here and south? I like the switch to VBulletin BTW.

What have I missed?

Welcome back!! :)

You just missed a board election for MASC.... while SCMAS dissolved theirs.

Summer is typically a slow time.... though Elite Reef did put on a great show at Elite Reef Fest in July.

You are correct that RC is very quiet......

Where is the pendulum regarding SPS, LPS, softies, etc these days?

I promised that I was taking down my reef but I haven't been able to let it go. The autopilot has done an OK job (I still have all of my fish) but the tank is mostly a FOWLR. Blah. (No offense to the FOWLR fans but I don't have the wicked cool fish to make that path worth it.)

SPS...the bug reports are rampant on RC. Is it as bad as people make it out to be? I'm not sure I have the heart to go through another catastrophic SPS die off. The wife and I are on the fence between going either SPS or softies. Thoughts?

Greetings Mike - where are you keeping your progress photos on your build?
DV3/KhensuRa - thanks for the tips. Perhaps we've met?

I'm calling myself out right now...the goal for the first big stocking event...Saturday October 1st. See, how hard was that? The plan has been sprung.

I have a tan sarcophyton leather that is maybe 15" across...stay or go? I think I will keep everything else (candy cane, mdrumm crocea, frogspawn, a few other leathers, assorted zoas, ricordia, plate, favia, and some other assorted things but I would have to look to prompt my memory). No monti's or acros at this time.

Does anyone want frags of my sarcophyton? I'm guessing that I have 10 in the 2-5" size range, maybe more. If Pothunter is still around (eh?), I have an orange ricordia for you.

Anemone tank?
I would have to make equipment changes to go that route. That would be cool but it would require spousal-approval-capital that I need to reserve for other things.

Circulation is by prop pumps. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself though. I'll take you up on a viewing. You're in Lakewood, right?

Darn, I'm going to be in Fort Collins tomorrow but my schedule is subject to a car pool of four guys (non-reefers). Maybe I can convince the family to take a day trip sometime in the coming weeks.

I think Charles might make love to anemones if he could:) I couldn't help myself! Mike, good to see you back, enjoy. You should see my autopilot right now, completely empty! Ahhhhhh, it's like a big weight lifted off my chest. I miss my fish, but vacations will be relaxing for once. Can't remember the last time I took a vacation and didn't stress about my fish. NO MORE.

Welcome back Mike!
Haven't seen you in years.
Do you still have that 65g (I think that's what it was) with the swirler steins on it?

I have to agree with Zooid Been too long Mike. For those of you that don't know mike I can say in alot of ways he was like a mentor getting me back into hobby. A Awesome source for alternative ways of doing things that doesn't always cost a fortune. Run a search for some of his posts. I still considering adding a stien or two to my starfire system even though it has korillia wave controller and controlable pumps
