Was just going over the MACNA schedule and list of speakers, again, and trying to decide which speakers are a must see for me, but also curious which speakers others are wanting to see the most. All of them seem great and there is something to learn from each of them, but not sure I have the energy to see all of them so need to decide which ones draw me in the most.
Which ones are must sees for you and why?

1. Martin Moe- The Foundation of Marine Aquaristics. I've seen Martin Moe speak a few times, and had the opportunity to meet him at his house and check out his home lab. He is the man, he literally wrote the book on marine aquariums, and I never miss an opportunity to hear him.

2.. Kevin Kohen- He's the director of LiveAquaria, plus he's talking about NPS aquariums, and I have no experience with them.

3.Mitch Carl, Curator of Fishes at the Henrey Doorly Zoo in Omaha. He's talking about SEACORE a project studying the sexual reproduction of corals. I missed his talk last year, but definitely won't this time.

4.Laura Birenbaum
- Co-owner of ReefGen, she's talking about breeding the Dwarf Cuttlefish (Sepia Bandensis). ReefGen has been producing a ton of these captive bred cephalopods, and I think they're one of the coolest animals in the world.

All of the speakers look good this year, but those are my top 4 "Must See" presentations.

I'll probably also attend Richard Ross's talk on phosphates, although I wish he was doing his "Skeptical Reefkeeping" presentation, it's one of my favorite MACNA talks I've seen. If you haven't seen it check out the article.
