Okay you big brains, hear is something for fun. First one to answer these math questions, yes, you do need to show your work ,wins a zoa frag. Your choice I have a bunch. This is a mom's lazy way of checking child's homework. LOL

Question 1

Simplify.
Find square root of 5 and 15 (Hint: if you get a large decimal number- not right)

Question 2

Solve.
1.2 - 3.4x= -5.6

Question 3

Find the sum of the polynomials 3x - 2y - 4 and x + 2y - 7.

I will also bake the winner brownies, regular brownies.

What do you mean the square root of 5 and 15? They both can't have the same number...so do you mean SR of 5 + SR of 15?

Please simplify the numbers, whatever that means.
And no you are not fat!

the square of 5 = 5x5=5^2=25

The square root of five is

2.23606 79774 99789 69640 91736 68731 27623 54406 18359 61152 57242 7089...

2.236 is 99.9% accurate

1.2 - 3.4x= -5.6

2

#10
sqrt(5+15)
Sqrt(20)
Sqrt(4*5)
2*sqrt5

1.2-3.4x=-5.6
1.2=-5.6+3.4x
1.2+5.6=3.4x
6.8=3.4x
6.8/3.4=x
2=x

3x-2y-4 and x+2y-7
(3x+x)(-2y+2y)(-4-7)
4x-11

#11
Not really sure what ur lookin for with the sqrt, but usually simplify means to put it in a reduced form. 5 and 15 are reduced form, so I figure it was the sqrt5+15

The only way question 1 makes sense is if they are asking for this:

sqrt(5+15)
to solve..
sqrt(20)=sqrt(5x4)=2sqrt(5)

2.

1.2 - 3.4x= -5.6

1.2 - 3.4(2) = 1.2 - 6.8 = -5.6
So x=2

3.

No work really...answer should be 4x-11
