Ocean Magik -- The Reef Elixir
Ocean Magik -- The Reef Elixir contains three different strains of live phytoplankton. Our formulation has been engineered to ensure maximal nutritional benefit to your marine aquarium. The three strains, Nannochloropsis, Isochrysis Galbana, and Tetraselmis, cover a diverse size range - from 1 micron to 15 microns! Many of the competing products sell dead phytoplankton, which effectively adds waste to your tank.

Nannochloropsis -- The Ammonia blaster! Often used in the greenwater technique to absorb ammonia from larva rearing tanks. Nannochloropsis absorbs ammonia before it consumes nitrates[SUP][1][/SUP], this allows you to overfeed your system without negative effects*

Isochrysis Galbana - The ultimate nutritional diet for copepods and other zooplankton.

Tetraselmis - A larger phytoplankton strain that contains extremely high levels of fatty acids.

  • [*=left]Isochrysis Galbana -- an extremely nutritious phytoplankton that is high in DHA and EPA. Approximately 5-7 microns in size

  • [*=left]Tetrasemlis -- a phytoplankton rich in DHA, HUFA, and proteins. Approximately 10-15 microns in size

  • [*=left]Nannochloropsis -- a phytoplankton known for its high levels of HUFAs and EPA. Used in the "greenwater" rearing technique to effectively lower ammonia and supply nutrition to marine larva. Approximately 1-5 microns in size.

FORMULATED TO HELP:

  • Increase sustainable copepod and zooplankton population.
  • Increase coral coloration, polyp extension, and growth
  • Decrease ammonia, nitrates, and phosphate without synthetic additives.
  • A wide range of sizes allow for complete nutrition. Poseidon's Trio ranges from 1 to 15 microns!

16 oz bottle - $14
32 oz bottle - $24

*It is not recommended to overfeed your tank system. Nannochloropsis phytoplankton can alleviate some of the negative effects of overfeeding. It does not cure the situation.
