So the 75 is full of sand and water, ready for rock. I always just freestyle my rock stack, usually like it at first, but as time progresses I always find something wrong with it.

Ive been surfing the web and the forum here looking at tank builds to get an idea for rock stacks as Id like to have a general direction this time.

Show me some rock stacks, help me create the perfect environment for my fish and corals. I NEED IDEAS!

P.S. Build thread will go up as soon as I get home from work!!

Tagging along here.
I am a fan of arches, craters, negative gravity structures etc.
Especially interested in all the ways people put rock together, or cut or drill or sculpt...

Here is my 75 back in March. Not the best pic color wise but you can see the rock work, the caves, all the swimming room decently.

According to my watch, the time is now.

One tip I learned when I was researching how to aquascape was to build with coral growth in mind. Don't aquascape to make the rocks look fabulous, because they'll soon disappear behind the corals. Build your rocks to hold the corals you have, and the ones you plan to get, to their best advantage.

I think I came up with one that will work for me, at least i hope I did, cause its in the tank! LOL

Waters a bit too murkey to fully tell, but I think Im gonna like it.

What are your long term goals? Do you intend to see the rock in a year, or have it completely covered with coral? I left some sand space open for a few LPS thingies and also a lower rock stack for the large Leng Sy Cap that I plan to grow. Otherwise, I stacked up it.

Scape for what you have in mind later. In my reefs, you won't even be able to see the rock after a while, so I would not sweat the rock scape too much.
