Who should attend: simple, ANYONE AND EVERYONE!!!!
So what this means is bring the kids, grandparents, significant others , aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, cousins, and whom ever would like to join is welcome!!!
I will be providing drinks and some appetizers. Might even grill up some hot dog or brats depending on how many are coming, so please vote in the poll to let us know how many to expect. Feel free to bring additional drinks, food, snacks or other appetizers.
The Auction Rules-
The Mini-Auction is where people can bring in aquarium related items to auction off during the monthly general meeting. The auction is held at the end of the meeting so that people can see and inspect the merchandise before bidding. There is a limit of 5 items per member and items to be auctioned must be declared with the treasurer by filling out an auction form. Members receive 80% of the sale after the first dollar, non-members receive 50% of the sale.
Sellers must complete an auction form listing the items to be auctioned. Free donations in good condition are also accepted. If you intend to sell aquarium related goods at our auction you will need the Auction Form.
At checkout, the sales revenue is split between the club and the seller in the following manner: MASC receives the first $1 of every sale. The remainder is split between MASC and the seller. Members receive 80%, Non-members receive 50%, So it pays to become a member
(Sellers may donate 100% or other % to MASC if they want)
NOTE: At Mini-Auctions held at the general meetings, your seller split will be calculated at the end of the auction at checkout.
