Shut Off In Case of Power outage to the sump.

I was pondering this today and the first thing that popped into my head was a valve system from a sprinkler system. Have you seen one of these or heard anyone doing that?

just put in anti siphon hole

i would agree with the siphon break on the return line at the top facing down so your not spraying water across the room and using a swing check valve is not something you want to depend on although they work well most of the time. if used in conjunction with the siphon break you should be pretty safe. here is a link to one. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=5163+10124+9405+19078&pcatid=19078
