We have enough small business owners her, I thought I would ask if anyone is using an accounting freeware that they are happy with.

I have excel and am using it at the moment for planning, but I was thinking about using Nolapro. I just don't want to foot the bill for Quickbooks or Peachtree and need more than the basic features. I just figured someone here might be using something they like.

I am getting some software and stuff from my old employer, I can see if they are willing to part with the Peachtree accounting stuff we were running but can make any promises

NolaPro looks good. Depending on how many clients you have you can try FreshBooks. Harvest has an online $12 a month service which has more functionality than Quickbooks online. There might be more, but there free versions are lower functionality.

I don't have inventory or employees, so it is easy to invoice for service and total up my income at the end of the year or quarterly depending on how much business I do.
