Submersible pumps cheap

I have had and seen a ton of people asking for submersible pumps lately.
I was at harbor freight this morning and was just looking around. When I seen these pumps. They are for ponds. The box said freshwater or saltwater. For $35 for 650 gph pump might be worth taking a look at these.

I bought one for my old 60g aio and gave it to praveem (ghosty) when I sold the tank, wonder if he still has it..

These things are strong - along the lines of Sedra 5000 strong. I don't know if I would trust a cheap china pump as a return pump, or anything, but they mix and move water just fine. I guess that if you are trusting a Jeabo, then this is probably no different, and you are good to go.

I would give them a good rinse in a acid/vinegar bath before you used them. Everything from Harbor Freight seems to have "that store" all over it and just feels greasy to me.
