For those that have seen this tang in our display tank. We will be putting this fish up for sale. $950 (FIRM). Please do not offer anything less than the asking price. This fish eats out of the had and will consume everything it's offered. We don't need to sell it but I thought I would see if anyone is interested. $950 cash will reserve this fish for your tank. Thanks for looking.

(Picture is of it when it was getting acclimated to the 185g display tank 8 months ago)

Would he get along with a purple Tang?

Ask and you may find out, don't ask and you will never know.

Get a large acclimation box and have the new fish in it for 2-3 weeks and they should be fine

I agree on the large acclimation box to allow the fish to get use to each other. We did this in our display tank before letting it go. It really helps.
