I will keep that In mind. Not 100% sure what I want to do yet which is why I'm just looking for a used one.

Ive got a 40 gallon long tank that I was using for a sump for a while. Its got a crack in one of the sides that I fixed up with some acrylic and silicone... held water for over 2 years.

Its yours if you are interested. (was previously used as a frag tank so there are 2 bulk heads drilled into the side with the crack. I closed them off with a 1" pvc cap)

dimensions of the tank are: 48 1/4 x 12 3/4 x 16 7/8

I have 2 sump/fudges and plan to sell one, once I decide which one to keep. One is Precision Marine R30g, the other is ADHI 30.

I'm going through this too Austin. Save yourself some headache and take the inside MAX measurements at the narrowest point (between any center braces, etc. You have the standard AllGlass 75 RR so I'm guessing your stand inside dimensions should be around 46x16 at most?

I got that 120XH which seems huge and is 5ft. wide, BUT in reality the stand inside dimensions will only allow a sump that's 15.5" max depth (front to back). And also trying to put anything really long in there might need to bust out that back center brace, then re-install it. I'm annoyed my ADH-60 won't fit without removing that back-center and adding extra bracing elsewhere, it's a beautiful sump.

(both my tanks have closed tops so no going in that way)

If the tank is not setup you can take the tank off the stand and slide it in from the top most times. Well that usually works for me.

I have an adhi 20 gallon sump I could do a partial trade on. The skimmer chamber is way way to small for ag2.. , supposed to fit an asm mini g

What's the largest you can fit in your cabinet, and what size do you have now? Petco is still running the $1 per gallon sale for a few more days. Maybe a 35 or something would fit.

I'll take measurements tonight. I have about a15 in there and I have an adhi 20g but the g2 skimmer won't fit in the adhi if I want to use it with a fuge. Thinking about connecting both sumps with a bulkhead. Then u would have plenty o room. Or I may look into a mini g skimmer

I forgot if you have a center-brace in front? Unless you knock that out (while providing aux. bracing since the tank is full already), it'll be tough to angle a bigger sump into one opening. If I try to fit a good size sump under my 60g, I'm gonna put a temp-brace to the left of center, then cut out the center brace. Once sump is in place, shim and re-install the center, then remove the temp. YMMV...

Or maybe I'm overthinking this, hahaa...

My stand is reinforced all 4 corners. Has a center trim piece. The back is open and 4 inches from the wall which will help with maneuvering. lack of space and maneuverability is why I was contemplating the bulkhead idea.

Cool, didn't know the back was open or how close to the back wall it is. My back and top are totally closed.
