saltySamurai was my "enabler", getting me addicted by letting me reef-sit his amazing tank... I had kept freshwater tanks for about 10 years, when I had a heater-disaster, which fried my African Cichlid tank... it was either quit, or step up to Saltwater. Thanks to craigslist deals and a knowledgeable friend/mentor, I am completely hooked!

I spent a lot of time at children's hospital with my son Cody the first years of his life we were at children's more then home. They had a few really nice reef tank and I would sit and watch them for hrs. So a few years later I bought a setup from someone in the rocky mountain news classified. It was being serviced by Oceans Apart. I knew nothing about it so I continued Oceans service for a year and then started taking care of it myself.
Look what it has turned into for me ....lol..What A Hobby!
