Ya I use all AquaBright bulbs in my 250s now days and they are great bulbs. Glad they started making reef bulbs because it was getting pretty difficult to source bulbs before they came along. I believe @Dr.DiSilicate had some MH fixtures and ballasts available. He grew some amazing sticks...

I run DE 250w MH on my big tank. I have 4 of them with a mix of nico bars too. The tank is mixed reef, mostly LPS, but the sticks I do have, grow really well. That being said if I was going to go SPS dominate tank, the only choice for me would be 400w MH. 2x 400w fixtures with some led bars for...

Ya his tank is still sitting in his garage, but he has been focused on building his woodworking business. Hopefully someday he will get the bug again and get it started back up

Pretty normal really. Most sponges are just fine and beneficial. I would just leave it and keep an eye on it. If it starts to overgrow the zoas then just reach in a pull it out by hand. Sponges are generally really easy to remove that way

Thanks @rmougey The park does also have a dog park, incase anyone wants to bring their pups with them. They have an indoor and outdoor pools as well, and fishing is allowed in the lake. So plenty to do for everyone in the family
