I've tried it but I found that it didn't kill. They just made them make a second tube instead. They only way that I have found that is sure to kill them is to take bone cutters, aka coral cutters, and crush the base of their shell

Don't trust anything BRS says. All their recommendations are paid and driven by the manufacturer. They arent true recommendations imo. They have even gotten worse in the last year or so and their prices have been climbing. Easy to find anything on there somewhere else for cheaper now days
