My nem died.

So I just got a gbta with purple/pink tips last night, all looked good till I got home, some tentacles were scattered on the floor and the foot floating around on the sand bed. I have no f'in clue what happened, it was fine, also all my other anemones are looking great. Any ideas?

Are you sure it is dead? I have seen a few survive powerheads.

both mine survived my mp10 and overflow ,....give it a day if it doesn't stink

I thought maybe the powerhead as well but i turned it off just Fir that reason. So I'm completely stumped, and p/o'd.

This is another that I've had for a few years now. Just a gbta. The gbta with purple tps already died.

When an anemone eats too much, sometimes it will expel the contents by turning inside out.
Just keep an eye on it. They look like this sometimes when they are splitting too.

I'll keep an eye on it the wierd thing is it hasn't ate in a month.

Yeah actually I'm pretty sure my regular green bta ate it. I didn't know they can do that.

Yes they can. My carpet nem ate two other nems that got to close.

SWEET!! now I can tell my daughter "don't stick your hand in the tank the anemone will eat you". At least we will know what happened to the cat when it disappears all of the sudden.
