So a friend bought a pink bubble tip nem. He was told it was a PBTA but it is green. It is still a baby so will that turn pink eventually or was it a mistake?
This is what the PBTA looked like after the split. However after I pulled the rock and broke the rock, the PBTA turned greenish. The color has changed to green and back to pink a few times, so it should be Pink again after it gets acclimated to your tank.

No just wanted to add a color reference for now, I will get a picture tonight so everyone can see the new color. I think once you get home it might actually turn back to the pinkish color. Maybe it is just something they do, or they need something to keep them looking better.
I think somebody got taken. There are a lot of red BTA's that are pinkish in color especially when bleached. Never heard of a green bta turning pink either. There are green btas with pink tips but they're still green btas.
I've had a mini pink bubble tip before. A little bigger than a 50 cent piece and stayed pink and that size. Never changed colors, pink to green is not a color a quadricolor would change.
